Someone mentioned about using this app for petitions. I like that idea! But how about take it one step further and allow people opinions on such issues as the sequester and passing of bills. Obviously the people in capital hill cant remove their owns heads from their rears long enough to actually care what the "middle class" really want. Give us an outlet to tell you. Technology can be used for good and not evil if you allow it and take your own elitist self interest out of the loop. If the White House actually cared about what the American people really wanted they would take more of an initiative to pass the word and get people informed and involved. Overall the app is pretty good. Then however there is the stopping in the videos. For the iPhone 4

This is an OK app of you want to read all the White House press releases, hear Obamas addresses, etc. But a primary reason to have such an app would be to allow people to give feedback, right? Its on a *phone*, right? How about a phone number for the WH? How about a place to send an email? How about access to the White House petitions? You cant send an email to the WH from your phone - the app has no way to do it, and the web site is phone-hostile. The UI just falls apart on an iPhone. Boo.

This app doesnt allow us to give feedback to the whitehouse. In short, they couldnt care less what the public thinks. Thanks for making that clear.

Very disappointed. Thought this might be tool for Whitehouse web apps. Figured it would have Pres. propaganda. Didnt figure it would be just propaganda. Dont bother with it, its not worth your time. Just more lies from the left.

Its nice to have an app to check in on Whitehouse happenings. Even better to have a president who actually represents the people (not just the rich)! Peace✌

First class app. Would be nice if they add an audio section, so we could listen to the videos while driving or exercising without waisting battery life on the video. Also I think searches on the Apple store for "whitehouse" or "whitehouse.gov" should bring resolve to this app. I found it by visiting the website on my iPhone, couldnt find it using the apple stores search feature.

For all those that thought this would be a way to give the White House feed back, yall the idiots. Duh, if you care that much write a letter.

There seems to be a technical problem. I havent been able to get audio for a couple of days.

The White House app is great. It gives you a quick, organized way access to information about the issues, past, current and future, the White House is dealing with. In addition, by using the White House app I am helping the government save money by providing them unfettered access to my phone, email, text, contacts and all the social media outlets I am logged on to. This app certainly reduces the need for capital expenditures and investment in human resources to access my information, even if by a small amount. If everyone used it the NSA could save a lot of money! As a patriot I highly recommend this app for anyone who has nothing to fear because they have nothing to hide.

Is this always on spying?

I use the iPad version. There is no sound in any of Obamas speech. What is going on? This app used to be functional.
